The Podere l'Apparita
is situated in the Upper Cecina Valley,

town of Volterra and just 700 m from
the medieval village of San Dalmazio
(the setting for Carlo Cassola's novel
Il taglio del bosco.
Our small isolated , tranquil
farmstead surrounded by 60 hectars of
land produces organic wheat and olives.
Breakfast and evening meals
(on request) of fine Tuscan cuisine and
fresh organic garden produce are served
on the veranda overlooking the 12th century
Rocca Sillana easily reached on foot.
The family, run farm offers a warmk welcome
to 4 charming well-appointed rooms, each
with bathroom, a large terrace and an
indipendent entrance.
